Your standards for being an "all time great" are just as suspect as the IBHOF's.

He'd have to beat either Mayweather or Pacquiao along with Martinez for the middleweight title to get that distinction in my opinion. And he's just not good enough for that to happen, as much as I'd like to see it (and would be rooting for him in every one of those fights).

Beating two out of Pac, Floyd and Martinez will get him into the conversation, beating all three would seal it for me.

I dont think he beats manny or floyd but i could see him upsetting

martinez but that is the blueprint for him to go down as an ATG,

Beat the best in his era.

Think about it, if he beats lets say pac and a beltholder for a 160 title= 4 division belt holder, solid resume with good wins.
If he wouldnt be a atg why is marquez now for arguably beating pac and having good wins,skills,3 division champion.
I think you could make a case for cotto being an atg then, it certainly isnt as strange as some of you guys feel I think.

I think Martinez is a more realistic win at 154 or around that weight than Mayweather is as well.

No, its not too late. It all depends on Cotto in who he chooses to fight and how well he performs in those matchups. We shall see?

Martinez keeps his hands down to much and gets hit way to easy, and

he try's that crap against Cotto that he did with Barker he loses

Who has Cotto beaten that shows he is capable of beating Pac, Floyd, Martinez or Alvarez?

he weighed 152 for a 154 lb fight, why would he go to 160, he's a small junior middle as it is.
