    Thoughts about Too Sharp? Probably one of the most underappreciated fighter ever and the best Flyweight in the 90's. He was seemingly ducked by guys such as Tapia and Carbajal, but for good reasons as he was a high risk low reward guy. In his prime he was the complete package; fast, athletic, slick boxer who can punch but can also fight as well.

    My personal favorite fighter from the lower weight division alongside Ricardo Lopez. This guy is phenominal.

    Very talented fighter. Had some awesome physical assets, and a great, snake-like jab that had a way of threading the needle like few others, as did his left straight. He was quite flat-footed, though, a lot more than his reputation would suggest. It's one of the reasons I believe he'd have had major difficulty with the best lower weight swarmers. His defense was mainly all upper-body, but he wasn't exactly a wiz on that front, either, although he could show some excellent moves at times.

    I tend to think of him more as a top notch physical specimen at the weight than the slick technician he's usually thought of, although he showed he could be both dependent on the situation, especially as his career progressed and his physical assets began to lag/he started moving up in weight.

    really awesome fighter. beat Rafael Marquez IMO the first time, and that was after a stint in prison.

    If anyone legitimately thinks the green as baby ****, weight drained to hell Pacquiao stood a chance against Johnson at Flyweight they're smoking some strong stuff. It'd be as one-sided as fights get prior to the inevitable early to mid-rounds stoppage.

    Would have liked to see a fight between Mark Johnson and Nonito Donaire. Tough match up. I think Donaire's size would give him the advantage though.

    Bump. Johnson's unique fighting style gives me flashes of Roy Jones and Pernell Whitaker every time I watch him. Such a beautiful fighter to watch.
    It's great to see that he's finally inducted to the Hall of Fame. Very unexpected, actually. But, great deal nonetheless. Now, if only there was someone who can post more prime Johnson fights on YT, that would make me so much happier.:D

    Overrated. Its criminal that's he's in the hof. I guess anybody gets indicted into that thing these days. A matter of time before charlie zelenoff gets in too.

    Very good fighter. Not a lot of great talent in his division in his prime so hard to call him great for me.
