Where you been? They organise an afterparty every Khan fight, not just for this one.

Even when he fights floyd, they'll do the same thing.

Well Maidana is th biggest puncher in the division, so I dont know how thats "protected".

They literally couldnt match him against a bigger puncher in his division.

Malignaggi was a top ranked LWW, so was Kotelnik,as was Judah,Peterson is too.

In what way was he "protected"

I agree with your views. He's fought top 10 opponents since coming to America. And as far as why he isn't fighting taller opponents Khan is naturally tall for his weight division and it's not like he's avoiding them Peterson is next lol.

Unbelievably good. He'll have had 4 fights including Peterson Stateside with only one of them being a big test. The American hype train has taken to him because of his mouth and somewhat exciting style.

His star keeps rising, I was looking on Facebook earlier and he's got about half a million likes on his page which is at least 10 times as much as most boxers I've seen. The only active people I've seen with more are Floyd and Manny. I know it's pretty much a trivial factor but if nothing else it shows how his hype is building.

He'll do well to keep avoiding big punchers though. f he wants a Floyd or Manny fight I think Tim Bradley is his only ticket. He'll need a big win for a Floyd fight to come off which means a fight against someone like a Berto or Ortiz at WW and I think he could get viciously exposed again there especially against Ortiz. So I think a win over Bradley would be big enough if coupled with a debut WW fight with a contender like Alexander.

Khan's move to America has been utterly crucial to his success.

Before he started training with Roach, I didn't even think he would become a world champion. His defence was all over the place, he didn't bother utilising his strengths in the ring (the jab and movement) and he was getting floored or rocked by domestic opposition. The Wildcard hasn't just helped him along -- its pretty much transformed him as a fighter. Frankly, he should have been training there long before the Prescott disaster.

Umm no. He left Ariza for one fight and he looked horrible. He quickly made up with Ariza and he looked good again. He gets far better PEDs in LA.
