I would take G-man myself. I think he could beat the younger more agressive Hops and the calculated Hops that fought JT.
Great fight, although I'd favor Hopkins based on his ring intelligence and sharp defense. The Hopkins who fought Jones probably would take McClellan, as he'd have more punching opportunities than he did against Roy. And if Jones couldn't connect cleanly, I doubt G-Man could, either. Still, as Hopkins threw more, he'd be at greater risk, and McClellan's chopping right hand was a threat to get to someone's chin over their left shoulder. Edit: Typo on the Hopkins/Jones thing.
My bad. Typo. Fixed now. As for the fight, I'm just now sure G-Man would land enough clean blows to dispatch of Hopkins. If Jones, with his incredible speed, couldn't get to Bernard, I'm not sure who could. Now, the counter to that is Hopkins lost the Jones fight because he wouldn't throw punches, thus making it very difficult for Jones to reach him on a consistent basis. If Bernard is being more aggressive and letting his hands go, who knows?
G-Man baby. Funny this is a thread cos I was thinking bout the fight yesterday and I had McClellan by KO 6.
Mclellan gets KOed late in the fight. He'd be taking too many hits and getting outclassed the entire fight to last the whole fight.
