Without the two point deductions and the knockdown, my card would be 116-112 for Khan.

Without the knockdown and the point deductions I had it 6 rounds a piece 114-114........

With the knockdown scored and deductions I had it just like the two judges that awarded Peterson the fight, 113-112.

Am I the only one here that thinks justice was served when the ref took a point away in the final round?

I noted very early on before any deductions took place, "how the hell is Khan getting away with pushing Peterson off like that?"

Khan pushing off like that was plain wrong. I get when fighters push off when both are on the inside clinching and wrestling trying to gain position.

.....but what Khan was doing was ruthlessly throwing his forearms out and ramming Peterson back when there was'nt even a clinch or battle for position.
.....for the very reason that Peterson simply closed distance, Khan would propel himself at Peterson and push him off to get the distance he desired. Khan did this repeatedly and the ref rightfully deducted a point after several warnings.

You hate to see the point deductions decide the outcome of a fight, but did any of you notice that when the ref deducted a point from Khan in the final round, Khan again pushed off on Peterson a couple of more times.:nut

    I had Khan winning 1,2,5,9,10,11,12.

He got jobbed. All respect to Peterson though. He gave it his all.

Khan proved he can definitely take a punch, but he is still flawed. He gets hit way too often.

This^^^ Except I gave the 4th and 6th to Khan and the 11th to Peterson, but I had Amir winning 8-4.

Khan was deducted a point in the 7th for pushing off. Peterson dominated the 7th round and with the point deduction it was a 10-8.

Khan won the 12th round on my card but with the point deduction it is scored a 9-9 even round instead of a 10-9 round for Khan.

4-4 through 8 rounds the 9th and 10th to Peterson. The 11th to Khan and the 12th even.
That would give Peterson the win with 6 rounds to Khan's 5 rounds and the even round.

7-5 to Khan (115-113), wich would have translated to 113-112 with the KD and point deductions.

I thought the point deductions were very justified, and I think refs should do that more often in today's boxing... Khan was holding/pushing/pulling all the way through the fight, and got warned multiple times for it.

Andre Ward would freakin' hate this referee :yep

I fullly agree. Fighters today are so used to getting away with playing outside the rules, we need for refs to implement the rules and start deducting points for tactics like Khan's which were clearly part of his plan.
    He was doing it blatantly.

......and the fans have become so used to fighters getting away with fighting outside the rules, they're up at arms when a ref actually implements them.

Khan won the fight. Puerto Rican judge had it right, but Peterson's personal referee gave him the fight by split decision..............

    * knockdown round. ** point deduction round.

If we score every round 10-9 regardless of other factors I have Khan by seven rounds to five, or 115-113. With the knockdown and deductions, Khan 113-112.

The fight was easy to score in my opinion. Without the referee bull**** i had it 115-113 Khan. With bull**** i had it 113-112 Khan.

Khan was robbed, because he only lost because of the refs silly decisions.
