I didn't realise how much I didn't really like Ty until a guy named Ty sat next to me to judge the ams on Thursday night, he introduced himself as Ty didn't look like the so called boxer ty from in here but still his name was ty ' I had an instant dislike for him so then I asked him his second name which I think was Allan, ahhhh peace and quite, could kick back and watch the fight in peace. Must be this guy http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=115658&cat=boxer
i have to adree with this, sparring is a time of learning & trying new things/brushing up on weaknesses, i dont believe getting smashed in the gym builds a punch resistance, all it does is knock you around more, i am in the process of getting trained for my 1st am fight hopefully early next year, my coach is 82 years old & a fighter from the 50s, time is spent sparring, but also a lot of other time is spent doing other things too ie footwork drills etc. his methods are working well for me, i guess ill find out at fight time lol. but this is old school methods
