Outside of Floyd and Manny , Hatton was rarely troubled by very good fighters at 140 ( I know Floyd was 147).

In reality Peterson put in a workman like performance and nothing more. For this fight to be even close means that Khan simply isnt at that level.

I now think this evens things out as I thought he lost to Maidana .

Now I dont have rose tinted glasses , but the likes of Alexander, Bradley and Khan are so far from the elite level it is untrue.

Hatton gets a lot of stick on here for the way he went out to Manny, but he would run riot with the current 140 champs.

    Peace.

Hatton was utterly destroyed by Pacquiao at 140. Which makes Pac the last lineal champ you idiot.

Khan would have boxed circles around Hatton.

Khan doesnt have the foot speed and would have his back to the ropes all night long , and we know he cannot fight on the inside.

    Obviously I was joking.

Hatton vs Khan would have been child abuse. Khan wouldnt even be able to run. Hatton had quck feet.

I use to think so until i saw the peterson fight. Amir literally freezes and tries to look for a way out whenever the fight comes to him on the inside

Read above. I was joking. And I NEVER thought Khan had a shot against Hatton. The Maidana fight should have let everybody know that Hatton would have butchered Khan.

Bradley is the last and current lineal champ, which he claimed with his epic victory over the most feared and exciting puncher in the division, Devon Alexander "The Great" in 2011's version of Hagler-Hearns :yep

I'm not so sure, there is a pattern developing where Khan has stylistic problems with swarmers/pressure fighters. I have prime Hatton stopping this version of Khan.

To the OP, Pacquiao was the last lineal 140 champ.

Hatton @ 140 beats any version of Khan period. IF you take away his loss to pacquiou he is is udefeated at 140. I know he isn't but compared to khan i think he would easily score tho ko, and even against bradley he would get the UD decision imho. So basically there isn't anyone at 140 who would have beaten hatton at 140 imo.
