I love it when theres a nice tight fight, and you get a difference of opinions, we all know a good boxer from a bad one, a good fight from a shitter, and its interesting the difference of opinion you get, I watched Hatton V Mayweather with a pal whos opinion I respect, and he had Mayweather a round up at the time of the KO, and to this day is adamant same fighters, same night different ref Hatton would have won, he saw things totally different to me, yet knows his stuff, just a different angle on it

114-113 Peterson. Deserved the win, Khan has shocking defence and his ring generalship is average.

Khan showed no defense or how to fight on the inside thats what lost him the fight.
And Khan thinks he can beat Floyd????? WTF

I think Khan needs to go back to the drawing board as Bradely is better then Peterson and i t be painful to watch Khan losing again

since losing to bradley peterson has now beaten ortiz, cayo and khan.

I have no issue calling him the best lww in the world.

The first peterson - bradley fight was a huge step up for a grenn lamont. since then he's had 30+ good rounds of quality opposition.

Peterson vs khan or bradley next and I'm not sure he'd be an underdog in either of them.

This is why i always said Khan should stay away from Bradley he is TOO good and can really trouble Khan who lets face it seems to have a lot to learn.

I had it 7-4-1 Khan, 114-112 after deductions.

2-3 close rounds but Khan was the clear winner imo.

The ref was spot on IMO, At one point Khan initiated the holding blatantly looking to spare time and Cooper said fight and Peterson fought!. If the referee did it Khan's way it would of been a drab affair and why should a ref protect Khan's poor inside game plus make the fight boring cos Khan can't stop a relentless man on a mission.

Pushing/Holding even a few forearms to the throat early from Khan, He set the tone for the fight and when Lamont fought back he didn't like it. It was nice to see someone press Khan first man in a year to do it since Maidana.

perhaps we saw a different fight? I saw peterson display better defence, better aggression, better ring generalship and land better shots in a consistant fashion.

I think lamont does him again in the rematch, I just hope Khan is willing to reverse the purses that him and lamont split this time round because lamont doesn't NEED the rematch; he can go after maidana, matthyse or braldey rematch.

I read your card & we scored quite a few rounds differently but like I said, there were 2-3 close rounds you could argue either guy won.

I had Peterson in a close fight where the deductions were decisive. Although harsh, Khan can't really complain because he does the pushing down the head move A LOT in every fight. The ref officially gave the deductions for pushing but they were really a response to the overall persistent fouling.

Looking at the scorecards should it not be a split decision not a majority decision?? Or is the scoring different in the states??
