It was super close, but watching that again, I had Khan 113-112. No argument though, Peterson was terrific. Man, if that **** ref didn't take of the LAST point, it would have been a draw. A great fight ruined by an incompetent ref.
Will have to watch it again, had Peterson up. Khan shouldn't have been ducked 2 points for pushing but should have been ducked two points for his headlocks.
I had it a draw without the 2 pts from Khan and without the KD of Peterson in the 1st. But there's no option for draw in the poll. What now Mr. Fancypants? You have forsaken me. I have no voice.
They definitely shouldn't have taken away points twice for pushing. However, Khan did acknowledge that he was warned about the pushing prior to the point deduction.
I don't begrudge Peterson the win at all, he was very impressive and entertaining. But for me it was a draw.
Should've been a draw, both fighters deserved it and Khan really impressed me, the guy somehow fixed his chin and his stamina is impressive even after getting hit with alot of body punches.
I have six rounds each,with deductions deciding factor.Seemed as if each guy would take 2 rounds then give up next two to take a breather in the mid to late part of the fight.I did hear on second viewing the ref was much clearer than I thought he was last night.I understand Khan feels bad but there's no robbery here.There were a couple rounds very hard to score and Peterson would've had to live with it oif he never got the nod.I wonder if McGuigan and co were right about Amir looking too far ahead and only having one eye on the fight. A real close fight where fouls made the difference for me score-wise.
