    Without the bull**** point deductions and the knockdown(also bull****), I had Khan ahead with a point or so. I would've been happy with a draw, and an immediate rematch. :good

    Khan showed a lot in the fight. He showed that he is a gifted, very poor fighter.
    Lamont should move on and let someone else knock Khan out.

    The word "robbed" is the most abused word on these forums...

    I had it 114 - 113 for peterson and have scored it twice now, i am also from london. Honestly there should be no issue here, khan started very well 10 - 8 in the first and 10 - 9 in the second. But peterson completely outworked him, khan spent the rest of the fight on the back foot. The guy cannot work on the inside, peterson basically won the fight there. The points deducted were correct, he also could have deducted more for keep pushing down the head of peterson, this was due to his lack of ability up close. Well done to the yank he deserved it.

    I didn't think ref did a good job, but come on. Khan was the one doing the holding. Peterson was looking to get inside and work the body. Khan was trying to spoil that. If he wasn't leaning on Peterson's head, he was putting his elbow up under his chin. It was right he be warned. However, I didn't like the points taken. Nor did I like the KD in the 1st. I hate it when a referee of any sport imposes themselves unnecessarily into the outcome or production.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    If that fight was in the UK it would have been stopped by the referee while Khan was throwing pitter pat punches against the ropes it is the only way their fighters can win. :rofl:patsch

    First time I watched it I had it 113-112 Khan. On rewatching it I reversed the scores to 113-112 Peterson. I don't mind either of the 3 outcomes in this fight

    Referee was warning both fighters throughout the contest, Khan for pushing and Peterson for coming in with his head down.

    Both fighters persisted throughout but the ref only sees fit to punish Khan with 2 points deducted yet was still warning Peterson about not keeping his head up as deep into the fight as the 11th round.

    That kind of one sided reffing changed the nature of the fight and the points deductions ultimately cost Khan his titles.

    Robbery no. Very close fight that could have went either way, and a rematch will likely be PPV worthy. This could be FOTY in my opinion. To me its one of those fights where it sucks anybody has to lose. They were both winners in my book, and they put on a fight I won't forget.
