Well, not yet anyway. I was pretty impressed with Mitchell from what I saw. He seemed comfortable against a guy with a good AM pedigree and deep pro experience. I'm gonna keep an eye out, plus, I like his killer instinct. At this point in time though, I don't think he can beat Chambers.

How is Eddie shot or out of shape?

If I were him I would be jealous as well, when people put that **** on TV but HBO and Showtime refuse to show his potential fight with Tony Thompson.

I don't like the timing of this fight for Mitchell at all.The kid is a very good talent, bring him along smartly. Like I said in a previous thread, throw him in with Dominic Guinn and if he smokes Guinn then put him in with Monte Barrett. If he smokes Barrett, I think he devours all but a few of the top 10 guys, and maybe even ends the heinous Ukranian reign of terror.

But yea, as it stands today, Eddie is too quick, experienced, and skilled for Mitchell. In six months or a little longer? Mitchell might be taxing mother****ers like he's the IRS.

He is done. He showed it against Klitschko and going the distance with Rossy.

Are you just dum or what? Dont talk about things you dont have a freaking clue about.

Thompson vs. Chambers was going to be televised on Showtime, until Chambers got his injury.

Mitchell looked good last night, but he was open to the right hand. He has power that is for sure, but a top rated heavyweight will beat him easily. Haven't we seen this stuff before.

Mitchell will eventually take out Chambers although I'm expecting Eddie to expose substantial gaps in Mitchell's defence while the fight lasts.

Chambers would beat Mitchell right now, he's simply a better fighter than Mitchell. But Mitchell is still getting better and in a year or so this would be an interesting fight. The one thing Mitchell has over Chambers is excitement, he has a fan-friendly and exciting style where Chambers doesn't.

I'm not sure how far Mitchell is going to make it but there is some talent there. I'd like to see him go some rounds and I'd like to see how well he takes a shot but he some things going right for him. If Mitchell could beat another veteran or two like Rahman, McCline, Peter, Grant, etc than I'd love to see a Mitchell-Arreola fight-that could be one of the best action fights in boxing.
