So far I've only seen people saying they had Khan ahead or a draw. I had it a draw though I lost track of scoring a little bit. Think I had it a draw in the end though. EDIT: Including all the points deductions etc. as the ref called it poll coming
i had it as a draw, but with the points deductions/knockdown. Peterson winning by a point, I think that was the same as how sky had it.
You spelled Khan wrong ***git Though yeah, he was a bad loser after the fight. should have spent more time congratulating Peterson and less time moaning about DC judges. He was acting like DC was a well known place for crooked judges and that he'd been completely robbed nah, very close fight, especially with the point deductions
Even with the point deductions, I had Khan slightly edging it. I've been critical of him since last night, but I suppose I can understand why he was upset about it. The final scorecards were still pretty fair, though. Could have gone either way.
I had Peterson by 2 points. Peterson clearly dictated and controlled the fight. The ring was his and he had Khan running away to keep from fighting. Sorry, but I don't give points for avoiding confrontation by holding heads down, turning your back, or out right running around the ring. Peterson came to fight while Khan came to sprint around the ring while constantly fouling. Peterson won the fight, and he'll win the rematch also. Khan hates infighting and took many of those beautiful uppercuts to prove it.
Based on first impressions I gave it to Peterson, but rewatching some of the rounds I might have Khan edging it. It's pretty close
I haven't scored it even though I've watched it twice. I'm all for clean, effective punching being the main scoring point...but last night, ring generalship played a big, big part in the scoring IMO. I would probably say Peterson did enough to win.
It depends on whether we're counting or discounting all the meddling by Joe Cooper. Make it all a clean slate (meaning toss out the knockdown ruling in the 1st as well as both foul points taken from Khan, meaning you're scoring only on rounds) and I'd have had it 114-114 a draw. Leave all the point adjustments in to respect the rulings as a judge is bade do, and I had 113-112 for Peterson.
