As a relative newcomer to ESB (but longtime boxing fan) I have enjoyed reading BM's posts and analyses as have the other posters. I do hope this retirement is a short one, but in any event my best wishes to you.
This is really lame. I started that damn Darcy-Greb thread and thought it brought out a lot of information. Personally, I learned a lot from it. As a guy who works too many hours but still has a curiosity about these matters, that kind of input is priceless. Hope to hear more of your input soon, boiler.
Before the crash a few years back this was the best forum around bar none. You had posters like JohnThomas, JimmyShimmy, Luigi, RedRooster,Conteh, Manassa and a lot of other guns regularly posting, debating and sharing their vast knowledge with everyone. Now some post rarely and some not at all and the forum is poorer for it. I hope it gets back to how it was (there's still some great people on here for sure) but it can't keep on shedding posters like it has been of late.
Since u stated that u retire from full time posting I believe u will read this . I also believe that after a while u may come back 2 full time posting . Although I hope 4u that u will find better things 2 do although I know i have such things but still out of many reasons keep posting . I know that I m mistaken , maybe/hopefully some day I will get over it and free d time for more productive things . What ppl here advised u was 1 of my 1st thoughts upon reading your posts : back information up - whatever it is : fight videos , important texts (really don't take lots of place) , programs , whatever . But back it up in some sort of n order that will allow u 2 find it in d future efficiently enough . There r other things than boxing that r much more important and i advise u 2 start studying them . I know I did . Hope that your retirement will allow u d time 2 study those more important things : such as health issues , economy , war history , vehicles , astronomy , physics , mathematics , computer sciences (much more interesting , important and useful than u imagine , it can even teach u how 2 manage paper notebooks and books better than u do) , chemistry , biology , zoology and many more . I believe u have more 2 learn about those things than about boxing and I m sure that u can benefit infinitely more from starting learning those things .
I bet it was Jenna J. How she ever became a moderator is beyond my tools of comprehension. Then again I could say that about over half the mods to have taken over this place.
