I'm rewatching the fight now and I just got to this part and had to pause it and make a thread. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzVhNk2iD1A[/ame] Go to 2:42 in the video. I first thought the ref was taking a point away for pushing, but I think he was just trying to get in between to stop him, but what caused him to take a point away was the obvious and blatant sucker punch. When i watched it live, I was pissed at them taking a point away, but this time, I'm mad at Khan for doing that obvious BS. Khan has nobody to blame but himself. BTW I scored this fight the same as Lederman did except I gave the 12th to Peterson making it a win for Lamont by a round
I think that the KD was Bull**** and that Khan shoulda gotten a point doecked for pushing the head down not pushing.
I box on a 3-5 day basis....The 2nd point deduction was not legit.......if u wanna use it to "make an excuse" then yes...YOU HAVE TO SCORE IT SO I'M NOT SAYING DON'T SCORE IT.....Just sayin it was not "LEGIT" like your saying TS.... "LEGIT", YES...LEGIT, PERIOD, END OF STORY-NO. Tell it like it is n don't play too much n to it- Mayweather KO Pac in 7..maybe 8.
floyd should get deducted points for pushing his elbow in his opponents faces by the logic your using
You hear the ref say "stop pushing" 2 or 3 times during the second point deduction and he does the signal for pushing to the 3 judges so I don't think the second point deduction was for the sucker punch
No it wasn't. Khan was pissed and he spend the whole round looking at ref as if to say "dude he keeps coming with his head low, do something about it or I will have to push him off" When the ref did nothing for the whole round Khan pushed him off and hit him as if to say "If you will allow him fighting dirty then so will I".
the ref warns him for holding, when lamont comes in with his head low, and then deducts points for pushing. just frustrating, but poor performance from Khan/good performance from Lamont.
I think the ref shoulda gave Peterson more time to recover after the dirty punch on the break. I think the rest of that round was different than it would have been after that punch.
