I was there and saw it live at the MGM when it happened, the Pinoys knew their national Hero had lost.

In 2008, JMM was offered to fight Soto, and JMM ducked Soto, and instead fought Soto's "leftover"-Rocky Juarez for less money.

JMM turned down bigger money fight against Soto, to fight lesser knowns Jimrex Jaca for less money.

JMM clearly ducked Soto, cause JMM is scared to fight Soto.

JMM has fought many guys (Jimrex Jaca, Juarez, Katsidis) below him, so your excuse for him not fighting Soto, doesn add-up.

JMM is afraid to fight Soto.
    No doubt about it.

Soto's so basic and ordinary. Tough fighter, but not even remotely in Marquez's class. A younger Juan Diaz would've ran straight through him. I'm not even sure a lightweight Soto beats Katsidis at his very best.

140 would still be a step too far. Marquez knows Pac's style and took advantage yet again. This is still the same guy who struggled at times against Juan Diaz and shot to hell Joel Casamayor. He beats some of the back end guys, and I'd give him a decent shot to upset some of the better guys (Maidana is probably a good style matchup for him actually), but it would shock me if he could beat someone like Bradley or Khan.

Soto is a nobody right now, his name holds 0 value. He, along with Chad Dawson, couldn't fill a 2 seat reliant Robin Van with their fans.

He;s a nobody to you, cause you live on the other side of the planet, but he's known all over Mexico, and the southwest US.

The mexican networks always announce his name.

Soto has a much larger fanbase than Dawson.

Soto's name, strikes fear in JMM, Pac, MAB, EM, Maidana, and so many others.

Khan is much less skilled than Pacquiao. There's tape on how to beat him in ways that haven't been decided. He's no stranger to fast fighters who jump in and have no inside game. The height is a problem, but I would expect Marquez to bob and weave out of it. I think this would be the most difficult fight because he'd have trouble countering a guy fast on his feed, and he'd land the harder punches, but it would be messy because of Khan's sloppy nervousness and hand-speed. He could steal rounds.

Bradley, all he's got basically is a set of well-rounded skills and hand-speed. Marquez has the superior skills and timing, and may even be a harder puncher. I see him confusing Bradley down the stretch in a good fight.

Juan Diaz was fighting the night of his life that night and Nacho straight up told Marquez to give Casamayor the first few rounds, so he was pretty much always in control.

And Soto is a nobody. He would likely lose to the likes of Diaz and Katsidis, and did not have the following of Juarez.

Some of us said it's feasible based on his skillset. And seeing as how most people had him beating Manny, that would make him #1 wouldn't it? Though for some reason you can't give "**** drinker" respect. Some boxing fan.

so now it's "feasible", when the other day it was "he'd win"

"most people" doesn't change the fact that manny got the W and not the L, and since **** drinker got the L, he isn't number 1, having the "most people" thing gets you what, nothing

respect? you make it sound like i'm calling him a murderer or something fake, what's wrong with me calling him **** drinker when he does drink his ****. If I took it out of context and said he can go have some dog **** along with his ****, that's disrespecting him, all I've been doing is being real and called him the nickname that he put upon himself. I don't hear you trippin about when I call bradley ninja turtle....quit being so sensitive jus cuz your boy is 0-2-1

Marquez TKO 11 Khan by putting khan on the ropes and cutting of the rings and throwing combanatiolns and crazy uppercuts

Marquez TKO 11 or UD Maidana Marquez will be knocked down in round #3 though.

    Marquez UD Bradley

    Marquez UD Mattysee

Marquez TKO 12 Alxander with his combinations

Marquez UD Guerrero with speed and combinations and cutting the ring off

He said "I believe he can beat them all," which is pretty much equivalent to feasible. Stop making **** up.

All you do is call Marquez ****-drinker and defend Manny when people bring up their trilogy. You don't have to call him a murderer to disrespect him. Focusing on one negative aspect of his life and addressing him by it without even being able to call him by his name, by the man's title, more than shows your immaturity and disrespect. He doesn't drink his **** anymore, so if that's your real reason, you can stop now. It makes you look like a fool when you cry about people celebrating him and his abilities, and makes the sport look bad.

    :deal

Given the circumstances I can't be sure, but I can see it happening, and I gave perfectly reasonable breakdowns for it. If someone disagrees, they can go ahead and challenge it with their own.
