Why didnt Ahmed Kaddour fight like this in the contender

Last I heard, he was going back to Denmark to restart his career, though that's not solid info.

 

I saw him on Showbox and Vs. a couple times after the Contender and he looked like ****.

 

In fact he had a draw and a SD against a no-name and he easily could have lost both those fights.

 

Kaddour (sp?) is nothing special. He's got speed and decent power, but that seems to be it. Doesn't seem to have any ring intelligence, heart, or any other things that could elevate him to the elite level. Gomez beat the crap out of him. I have to say though, he can sometimes put together some nice flashy combinations, and he alternates between body and head nicely. I winced when he hit Gomez with a triple left hook to the head in the last round of their fight, it was good stuff. Trouble is that he either gasses out or goes into a shell when getting backed up.

After a messy divorce from his former wife, Brandy Collins, Kaddour was arrested on charges of burglary in June 2007 and then held in Harris County Jail in downtown Houston until his release on December 6th.

According to a report in The Tribune, a local newspaper serving the area in which the Kaddours once lived, Ahmed entered the residence they had purchased together without her permission and was arrested and jailed. Kaddour later pled guilty to a charge of trespassing and served approximately 180 days.

Collins had married Kaddour, a Danish national, and sponsored his green card application. After withdrawing her sponsorship during their divorce, the terms of Kaddour’s plea were that he would be released to Immigration Services and then return to Denmark. He is now residing with his family there and hopes to resume his boxing career."


No wonder he hasn't been able to focus on boxing lately.....I remember his ex wife, she was pretty hot.:hat

 

Wow, wonder who filed for divorce. Was just watching old contender episode today and saw his then fiancee. Unlucky Kaddour.

 

Yeah, I have no idea what happened...but when things turn ugly like that in your personal life it ****s up som many other things in your life.

Probably becuase he wasn't ABLE to fight them two like he was Edwards. That's like asking why Judah didn't fight Baldomir like he did Rivera.

 

She was hot as hell, but she was a complete ***** on the show. Saying **** like how am i suppose to tell my Dad i'm marrying you if you lose. Real supportive.

Interesting question RE: Ahmed, btw. I felt bad for him when he was talking about supposedly owning SRL. Seems like he has no guidance.

 

I don't know what some of yall are talking about. This video is not that impressive.

 

180 days for trespassing? Pretty harsh if that's all that was going on :huh

 

Some people know how to use the system: lawyers, the interpretation of the law, judges, and proper procedure.

And you're right-- something else could have been going on. Maybe Kaddour was stupid and backtalked someone in authority or had prior offenses.
