What, so Timmy's meant to be praising the judges because only one of them tried to rob him?

peterson should just see who offers him more money....arum or de la hoya

its a win win situation for him.

also if he fights khan and gets beat , khan will move to 147 leaving the ibf belt vacant...peterson will get another shot at the title sooner or later

Khan/Peterson rematch won't be in England anyway (if it happens). Schaefer has the Staples Centre booked, May 19th (****ing ages that!).

But Peterson's team say they're in no rush and will weigh up all options. Wouldn't be surprised if Lamont took an easier fight in Washington again. There was a great crowd on Saturday.

GBP would be wise to pay the money and put this on in Vegas. Suprised there is no rematch clause as Khan is always suspect even if he is P4P1.

I thought it was a voluntary defence?

Nah peterson was judah's mandatory for the ibf so when khan won the ibf peterson became his mandatory. The whole "voluntary" angle is that khan "voluntarily" stayed at the weight to fight him instead of moving up

Did the IBF ever mandate it though?

  10. I didn't know Peterson was mandatory contender, I thought it was just a case of him being #1 and getting the fight, rather than it being mandated?

Anyhoo.... there'll be a rematch I'm sure. It's the biggest money fight out there for Lamont and also he'll fancy his chances of doing it again.

No way peterson makes more money fighting Bradley. Like it or not Khan has been in exciting fights and HBO would be more than happy to put up the money for a 2nd peterson fight. Bradley has only disappointed on TV!!

I even think Khan would be happy to give up a percentage of his share to make sure he gets a 2nd fight with peterson.

If he was to get the fight with Peterson and win again, I wonder if he'd actually fight Khan. He'd be entitled to more cash as the unified champion. I think if Bradley was to get the shot at Peterson though, Khan would probably move up to 147.

There is no way Peterson/Bradley is a moneyspinner. It would do worse then Bradley/Alexander.

Khan is the money maker in the division and they will eventually offer the Peterson camp too much to refuse.
