Yes, you did, and as I just said, we're yet to hear something about it. I listened to it live, and after, twice. Yeah, and we'll see if this comes out when it goes to Court. I never said I do or don't believe you.
So why should Peterson fight Bradley instead of Khan? Khan is a bigger name, will earn him a bigger pay day, he already beat him once and could quite possibly again. The risk/reward obviously favours a rematch with Khan.
At least one of us can read, Laz So, you acknowledge I said it won't come out until any hearings, yes? Yet, you ask about it again expecting one side to break the legal process and risk the judge ruling against them. Legal proceedings like this are conducted in good faith. But, just as a warning, if they settle we'll hear nothing about it formally. Which would **** me off because it's in the book I'm writing, so I have a vested interest.
I think Peterson should fight Khan again. I'm just taking issue over the whole "Bradley ducked" thing. I actually think Timmy's comments are a bit pathetic under the circumstances. And as Wallet said, why wasn't Khan interested in Guerrero?
Because Guerrero is a nobody at 140 and apart from hype and running his mouth hast really done all that much....over three weight classes atsch Hate that guy.
I love you, Flea! But it was a decent fight to make under the circumstances and, surely, winnable for Khan. Yet, apparently it's ok for him to make "business" fights, just no one else.
Yes, I did, but it had been a while since then, and since you had built up 'good relationships' with certain people, I was curious as to if you had heard anything new on it and whether it had already happened.
You know my reasons though :good Totally the opposite of what I appreciate in boxing. Not his style or ability. But the so-called 'achievements' :good
Why does he need to 'unify' anyway? He is the no.1 in the division. It's up for 2&3 (Amir and Lamont) to earn a shot at him ;-)
No, I haven't. He's not a mate or anything, I just emailed him a bunch of times and he told me some stuff as part of a Q&A, but those answers are off-the-record until the case. He just seems like a decent guy looking out for Bradley. When I asked about the ducking thing that was what he replied with, among a whole other bunch of reasons. Some were a little silly (Khan doesn't bring much to the table, apparently) but most were reasonable.
It is business, not about fighting the best. It is about maximising your earnings in a sport where you career could be over in your next fight.
