Next for mundine??

Delvin rodriguez is a real possibility for trout.

 

Forget about money issues for a second. Mundine won't fight Trout because he will lose. Thats the main reason not money.

Mate, would'nt be totally surprised but it wont be for the regular WBA title imo. The talk of possible opponents since he won the title has included.....Canelo,Kirkland,Lara,Rodriguez,Mundine,Angulo,Nonaka,Ishida and Lo Porto so far the only one he has been able to sign seal and deliver was Frank. Now there may be varying reasons why Frank is the only one that he has fought, maybe the rest were **** scared, maybe he has trouble with the promoter he has, maybe his management is hard to deal with or maybe he asks too much money. I would be genuinely interested in your take on who he fights next.

 

People still think he will fight Trout? History says otherwise but would be great if he did.

 

Mate where else does he go 147 . They have to fight, i dont think they have any other options. I try to support all aussie fighters but if Mundine does not fight Trout i'll join the long list of haters and bow to their superior knowledge . Mundine has'nt got much left, 11 years as a pro after a long time as an elite NRL player has taken it's toll. I did'nt expect him to get past Alvarez but he did it easy. I just don't get where people are saying Trout is this unbeatable beast who will rule 154.

 

Mundine hasn't been fighting mostly bums for the last 5 yrs for no reason. He has no intention of ever testing himself again in the boxing ring against a-level opposition. Wake the **** up everyone.

 

You didn't even expect Mundine to get past Alvarez but now you think he can beat Trout?

 

I'm going out on a limb here and saying Mundine will fight Trout.

I just have a strange feeling Bumdine will finally step up.

 

I hope so but I doubt it. Kessler,Geale rematch,Golovkin I think he will dodge this one. I also thought he would dodge the first Kessler fight after he destroyed Siaca so hopefully Mundine surprises me again.

 

HAVE TO AGREE WITH THIS, although as beaver said it would be nice if he did.

 

Mundine v Trout is potentially a very good match-up. The concern is that there hasn't been a word about the bout happening since Mundine beat Alvarez and became Trout's mandatory. I would have thought there'd be some negotiation going on or at least some attempt made to build some interest in the fight, but not a bean.

 

The fight between Toni and Ty is more likely to happen.

Mate never said anywhere that i think Mundine can beat Trout. What i said was Mundine will fight Trout next IMO which is what the thread is titled. If the Fight comes off then i will be supporting Mundine, if you will be cheering for Trout i can fully understand why. I have no problem with people wanting to see Mundine get smashed. Just replying to the thread title.
