He has a good jab but he gives up his height and he rarely uses it to create a distance that he needs. He usually just throws it and comes with wild ass combinations that don't do **** half the time. If he would have jabbed Peterson upstairs and to the body and committed to it then he would have been better off and would have won by a landslide. What Sr. is talking about is exactly why I picked Peterson to win and if they rematch Peterson will win a wide UD 8-4

 

Khan jabs beautifully when he's on the offensive. I remember a lot of ESBers rating his jab the second best after Wlad's after he punished Paulie.

Roach has more known, champions, and well respected fighters then sr. Before he talks maybe he should get some fighters as well. When he had oscar he made him try to fight his own style with all the rolls and stuff. Oscar look so awkward trying that crap. When he had hatton he talk so much **** abt pac and freddie and how he can't coach and got his fighter knocked out. Sorry but sr. Doesn't even compete agaiinst roach when it comes to coaching.

 

The biggest hole in Roach's coaching seems to be infighting. A lot of fighters will fancy their chances against Khan having seen Maidana and Peterson walk him down. He backs himself against the ropes because he's unaware of what the do without distance and because he is unable to use upper body movement/subtle footwork to keep the centre of the ring without getting into an in-fight.

The Maidana fight was almost to be expected as that's his style, but seeing a known "boxer" with mediocre power fight like Margarito because he knew Khan couldn't counter that style will have been eye-opening....not least for the previously yellow Tim Bradley.

SR don't know what he's talking about. All of Roach's fighters have done better than him as a fighter. He didn't do anything but get embarrased by SRL. So much for this jab of yours.
