Now the dust has settled a bit, which man should sit atop the lww tree? I personally think that khan overtook bradley when tim ducked him and went inactive. Since then bradley has only defeated casamayor whilst khan has defeated judah before losing to peterson. So who should be top dog now? Peterson? Bradley? Or khan? I initially decided peterson deserved to be at the top in light of his victory over khan. But given bradley's victory over peterson last year is it fair to rank peterson above bradley? I'm not entirely sure any more especially given the new rankings by ring and espn. So can the forum give some sort of consensus and answer this question? I'm undecided between lamont and bradley. I think khan losing so i'm happy him being 3rd but the top two are splitting me.
it's still all to play for in my eyes. A few fights could settle it. A convincing win for either fighter in a Khan-Peterson rematch, and then a fight against Bradley should settle it.
I think some of my decision would have to be placed on the performances of the men in question. Resume of course is the most important thing to consider in my opinion, but if someone is dominating then surely that counts for something? In that case I'd go: 1. Bradley 2. Khan 3. Matthysee/Peterson. Khan really under-performed for me here and he really underperformed for me against Maidana (I actually thought Morales beat Maidana and beat him by a wider margin). That being said he's amassed a pretty impressive resume, as impressive as Bradley's in my opinion at 140. That being said though in the fights where he really should have stepped up he hasn't quite done so as of late. Bradley on the other hand has the scourge of inactivity surrounding his 140 run as of late. That being said he's been pretty solid, nice performances and clear clear wins. I think he blatantly ducked Khan. He may have the chance to fight Pacquiao but he's been so inactive he could have easily fought Khan by now. It actually pains me to have him at the top because of that. Third is split for me. A win for Peterson I never thought he would get. I didn't expect him to do that, I really didn't. That being said I thought he clearly clearly lost to Ortiz and he clearly lost to Bradley, and hasn't quite been able to cook up a line of wins like Khan and Bradley have. Matthysee has been plagued by being on the wrong end of decisions. I thought he beat Judah and Alexander. Those wins and the okish win over Harris should see him in a clear third but the cards mean hes sort of frozen out. I think he may actually be the most threatening fighter and the man to rise to the top if we see all men take on each other. Its been a weird few months. I still have to decide on the bottom end of my P4P list, I still have to decide who is number 1, and now we have the 140 shitstorm. Its looking to get a lot crazier when Maidana gets back and Rios and Guerrero move up.
I currently have it... 1. Bradley 2. Khan 3. Peterson Too many unanswered questions, at the moment. A Khan-Peterson rematch will be good to start answering some of them.
Bradley Peterson Khan I think Khan would win a rematch, i actually had him beating Peterson 113-112. Peterson is having a good run, and he should enjoy it whilst it lasts. Bradley did duck Khan, but i don't think it was because he was scared. He had to get away from his last company, then after joining TopRank i guess he thought he would get Pacquaio - Not sure if there's any other reasons i'm missing ? Bradley unnbeaten, beat Peterson. So i want to see Khan & Bradley battle it out, if, of course, Khan beats Peterson in a rematch.
Morales, the old shop worn dragon comes out of retirement to send the once feared Maidana running back to Argentina then soul rapes a young hungry lion right after.
I was favouring Khan prior to last weekends fight, hard to keep him ahead when Bradley is such a close rival though. Bradley currently for me, Khan gets knocked back and he's already conclusively beaten Peterson.
Bradley is an undefeated 2 time unified world champion with a victory over the other current major belt holder. Pretty fine label to have to be fair Still needs to grow some balls, bro
bradley won convincingly vs peterson, khan had much troubles vs peterson. second reason, bradley just seem more durable than khan.
I do understand the reasoning for having bradley top. It just doesn't sit right with me knowing he ducked khan and has done nothing but beat casa this last few month. Was his win over alexander really that good it overshadows his duck job?
