Maybe. Povetkin looked **** against Boswell thoug IMO.

Again. I think they are trying to promote Rahman by giving him a 1 round KO win because he will fight Povetkin next.

No. Unless WBA set up another stupid and idiotic new belt.

That's only because the WBA have 21 champions (and don't rank other organisations' belt holders) who would normally be ranked ahead of him.

If Povetkins's promoter is putting this card on than thats a smart move and helps to promote a Povetkin-Rahman fight which probably takes place in Russia as well. So we probably get that match up in the first quarter of 2012 I'd guess.

Povetkin will be a big favorite in that fight and I'd expect him to stop Rahman by the 7th to 8th rounds. But, Rahman has big power and if he lands something big on Povetkin it could become interesting.

This fight will be far removed from "interesting".

    Terrible fight. Sick of Povetkin.

If Vitali would beat Povetkin he would become the Super Mega champion, now if the Super Mega champion unifies with the Super champion you get the Super Mega Ultimate champion.

Don't you guys read the WBA rules?

After the final match on this card, the promoter of this farce should be strapped to a post and flogged for the same amount of time that the Rahman fight lasts.

Good to see my boy with a fight...but the fact he only fought once this year was a joke. I read an interview with Rock's trainer and he said he was on some kind of diet plan that a college was integrating, and that he's lost a lot of weight. If Rahman comes into this fight at 245 or so, and 235 for Povetkin, I think he may have a chance.

I think the canned the idea of this fight from what I've seen, it's been pulled from Boxrec too. I am pretty sure Rock will fight early in 2012 though.

    Isn't Rahman Povetkin's mandatory?

But there have been reports Povetkin is fighting Marco Huck on Feb 25.
