There's no doubt about it Froch will be the most physically intimidating opponent Ward has faced, and he can deny all he likes, but even on a subconscious level this will be a factor in the fight.
I don't think Froch is physically intimidating in the slightest. It's more of a mental thing, he is the sort that can get in the mind of a weaker opponent and use it to his advantage. He definitely got into Dirrell's head - by the time Andrea realised Froch wasn't that good it was too late. He might have with Abraham too to a lesser extent.
That Miranda fight is what sold me on Ward. I was convinced he would at least be in the final of this tourney after that. I call his fight game loose change.
froch has a great jab but he has a tendency not to use it enough, his uppercut looks monstrous but very rarely hits the target, his fitness heart and chin is topclass, I'm hoping his trainer has really worked on carls defence speed and tweaking of certain punches, he telegraphs an awful lot and wastes a lot too, if so then he definatly has a good chance of beating ward, I can see an awful lot of close rounds most of them being just nipped by ward, which could make all the difference. I just hope cuts don't ruin the fight and froch can pull ward into a tearup some point late in the fight. WAR FROCH !!!!
