A lose/lose situation for Mayweather

    If ever Pacquiao-Mayweather megafight never gonna happen, the risk involved with this fight is not equal between the two fighters. Pacquiao has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. His rival on the other hand, faces the dilemma of having nothing to gain, and everything to lose.

    If Pacquiao beat Mayweather, he would be given enormous amounts of accolades, and praise. His place in the in the list of all-time greats would be cemented, and his induction to the hall of fame may even be accelerated.

    However, if Mayweather beat Pacquiao he wouldn't get nearly as much praise or credit. Many would state "Floyd was supposed to beat Manny" or "Manny was a much smaller man" even though those excuses are not weakening the demand for the fight in the first place.

    It is evident that it is mostly attributed to Floyd’s actions and persona outside of the ring. Unfortunately, Floyd's bad boy persona has made many people hate him,

    Doesn't make a difference. Maybe it wouldn't "matter" as much to the hardcore audience, but the "casual boxing fan" would lose their mind if Mayweather bodied Pacquiao.

    I didn't expect emmanuel's blood on Floyd's resume to shoot Floyd pass the stars anyways. emmanuel isn't THAT good.

    yes, Floyd whooping emmanuel's AZZ is more about getting the average hoe and joe to shut up

    TRUboxingfans will see that Floyd's legacy consists of his long reign of dominance over the sport, setting PPV records, creating 24 7, and being a pioneer for a stronger drug testing

    Pretty much. If Floyd can beat Martinez soundly, he can retire with not worrying about fighting Pac.

    I see your point but I think your wrong.
    Pac is a 50 / 50 fight for Mayweather
    Your too bias to how Pac did against Marques . get some distance.
    think about the last 3 years.
    they the same weight. so ones taller than the other
    they are both the best
    stop thinking so much its clearly not your thing / your influence too much by the media

    the problem with Floyd is he's not even talking fighting against Martinez. Too scared. He likes to cherrypick smaller opponents that he knows sure he can easily beat them.

    nobody give a **** about Sergio he cant fill a ballroom Manny is the fight and is a win for Mayweather. He beats a guy that people were claiming was on his level and he makes a ton of money.

    Since he would be and considered the favorite, hypothetically Floyd already beats Pac.

    Why would Floyd risk that hypothetical win???

    Sad but true.

    People would say he avoided Pacquiao when he was in his prime, that being the time he was fighting guys that didn't move about the ring too much.:lol:
