Sky boxing commentary getting better

  1. McGuigan is spot on.

The worst are Nelson and McCrory.

If Nelson comes out with one more cliche remark I'm going to jump through my TV screen and shove that pen he's so fond of about a mile down his throat.

If I was asked to to improve the show I'd put McGuigan on commentary with Adam Smith and back in the studio retain the host and have Eubank and Collins with Bunce sat inbetween. Your going to have entertainment, some might not like what they say but they'll say stand over it and eyeball anyone who wants to have a go. Boxing, your Mammys always right just leave her at home.

Colin Hart is the original. But he gets a hard time here.

He has an opinion no matter how outlandish and, in that case, wide of the mark. That's my point. I'd sooner listen to him make daft statements than listen to Piper.

Jeez, Nicky Piper has to be the worst pundit on Sky. Nelson might be annoying with his cliches but atleast he tries. Piper is vacant when it comes to an interesting comment/opinion. He literally adds nothing to a telecast imo.

Fans aint being too demanding, they just dont wanna to listen to 3 agenda filled conformists. I mean anyone with any commonsense can see that Woodhall & Oliver speak candidly and have a good grasp of the sport, yet the show is often centered around Nelson or McCrory. Ritchie gets good air time, but Spencer Oliver doesn't get anywhere near enough imo.

It seems Sky cant handle an honest opinion though, they would rather have sales men pundits who can coerce the public into buying BS PPV like Haye-Harrison.

Yeah Spencer spends a lot of time out the way ringside and they go to him in between rounds about 2-3 times per fight. Even then it's an afterthought. "Let's bring in Spencer...".

Watch last nights Ringside and please repost, and the truth this time fella.Everytime Khon spoke drivel Woodhall did a cracking impression of the Churchill advert dog.Sometimes his heed was just a blur with the speed he was nodding.

True. Bring Collins and Barry back more because both seemt o not mind disagreeing. Hate it when everyone feels they need to agree on Sky.

Watt needs to leave. He is from the old guard and not very good. I want to see some fresh opinions. McCory and Piper are quite boring too. We need fighters who are interesting, have an interesting background, can call on their career experience and who are a face. When I hear Nelson talk about rising to the challenge, unifying titles or doing anything a fighter should with his career then I can't seem to take him seriously.
