To be fair Lesnar had a reason. His management contacted Nevada immediately and said that he was 300miles from the nearest Lab. They said that they were happy for the commission to meet them where they were and do the test then. The Commission declined. And the four day delay was only because of the weekend (asked on Thursday, took test on Monday). The Overeem case is a complete farce.
Combat sports more than any other sport relies on guy scompeting on a level playing field. So, in my opinion Overeem must only be granted a license to fight Brock Lesnar if he can prove once and for all that he is on steroids. Badum....TISH! I'm here all week. Please, try the veal.
Some strange logic. If they're capable of taking it once before they're certainly capable of doing it again. The reality is MMA is a sport riddled with hormone abusers.
Kind of helps when key UFC employees were former employees of NSAC. Lorenzo used to sit ON the commission.
Reem and Brock have an incredible face off in the UFC preview. Both, especially Reem, seem to have nice round GH stomachs. Who knows the truth though!
The solution is very very simple , Olympic Style Drug Testing , funded by the UFC :deal Simple as that
if that happened a **** load of combat sports promotions and Hollywood studios would lose their roster.
