Hopkins Taylor 1 or Khan Peterson

    ...which fight was closer on your card?

    Personally I thought Khan Peterson was closer I had it 113-112 Peterson, Hopkins Taylor 1 I had Hopkins clearly taking it 116-112.

    I agree with you but I had Khan in a draw after the two deductions. Honestly many rounds were too close to call in the peterson/khan fight and I should re score it.

    I need to rescore it aswell, I think I was giving Peterson most of the close rounds.

    Same I originally had peterson 113-111, can't remember r4r prosisley but its definitely a fight that needs to be re scored to get a good judgement on it

    Your boy threw on average something like 18 punches per round for the first 8 rounds. It's the reason why the HBO team felt Hopkins needed a ko to win.

    He also should of got a point docked for headbutting

    The better man won

    Taylor deserved to win that fight - only Hopkins fans seem to have a massive problem with the decision.

    Personally, I had Peterson over Khan 113-112 (have NO problem with people scoring it for Khan though) and the first fight between Hopkins-Taylor a draw.

    So its pretty even for me.

    I just felt that Taylor swept a large number of those early rounds because Hopkins did nothing. He came on strong and had VERY MUCH the more definitive rounds, but on a round by round basis, I scored it a draw (from memory).

    Perhaps I'm thinking of the 2nd fight though. :think
