Lara vs. Ronald Hearns

Im gonna be honest with you, i didnt give him a chance, i believed he wasnt ready for PW.
even if PW was coming from his horrible loss with martinez, we are talking about a A+ fighter who has been avoided his whole career.And Lara was coming from another bad performance against molina.

 

this is nothing more than a stay busy fight for lara

 

That's probably where we differed. I always thought Williams was the most overrated fighter in the sport.

 

Hope Ronald Hearns keeps some icepacks near by

 

and dont forget the son of legend backed up from a fight against Hearns!

 

It's hilarious how many just carry on as if Lara got the W. I forgot that he actually "lost" the fight. I dont think anyone had Williams actually winning that fight

 

Anyone who gave Williams more than 3 rounds should stop watching boxing.

 

I think Lara is the most avoided boxer in the world today

i remember the threads before the fight and very few of us actually believed Lara would win.
i did expect a ko though but Lara like many Cubans just can not finish.

 

I'd love to see canelo finishing PW...

 

Canelo unlike Lara can punch. he would stop PW Martin style.

 

and Lara unlike Canelo isnt afraid to fight PW or anybody else.

 

Lara might have lost on the scorecards vs Williams.. but actually watching the fight

to give Williams 8 rounds is downright laughable ... 2-3 seemed closer to accurate and 4 would be pushing it

 

Molina?

 

he fought Molina, a draw.Then offered a rematch but Molina is fighting JK.
