...and this loss, to a better fighter, doesn't change that. I don't really mind that Froch lost tonight. I give a lot of credit to Ward, who is a very good fighter, but realistically, Froch is just too slow for a fighter like that. It's not his fault, of course, and I can't really fault him too much. He came to fight tonight, give it his all and lost. That doesn't bother me as a fan. Well done to Ward, though. He fought a good fight and the only thing which bothered me was the clinches, which were excessive. I don't want to diminish from him performance though. Still, I'm far more excited to see Froch return than watch Ward again. The cobra will always bring the fight, no matter who he is against, and for that reason, I'll always be able to say "I'm a big Carl Froch fan". :good
Froch has zero to be ashamed of. Fought hard and kept at it. Just comes down to Ward being too hard to land clean on and his ability to fight the fight the way he wants it. Combined with the faster and more accurate hands, of course.
Yeah, I agree. There's no shame in simply being the slower boxer. Credit to Ward for what he did but Froch has nothing to be ashamed of. With his hand speed, he's always going to struggle against fast opponents.
Big Carl Froch fan here!!! He fought like a true warrior. He deserves a lot of praises for his huge heart and will.
Ward has no power. Plenty of strength, but no power. The 2 Andres (Ward & Dirrell) fighting together would = :gayfight
shame about all this Jesus and God bull****. I thought people stopped this ridiculous **** years ago. Are all American's like that?
He may do, haven't seen a lot of evidence of it, but anyway he won't display it in any fight v his namesake, for obvious reasons.
froch is a warrior, good sportsman, and honest as they come. i knew he wasnt going to win, but no shame in that..just hated to see him lose too...but he will be ok..nice pay check and super hot girl
