The two judges who scored it 115-113 need to stop smoking whatever it was they smoked.

I wanted Froch to win but 118-110 was fair. I had it 119-109 with Froch only getting the 12th. There was one round earlier in the fight that you could argue for him which means 118-110 at best.

Totally outclassed, inside, mid-range, outside and even out muscled when on the ropes.

Ward is a hell of a fighter.

 

You would have to be a hard-hearted Californian to not give Froch the 12th.

Froch has to have the 12th on anyones card.

I'd expect most to give Froch at least one of either 5 or 9.

If you're feeling generous then rounds 2 and 11 were close.

Round 1 nothing happened except Ward landed some punches, so dont see how you can give Froch that.

 

PaulV, if you had pac clearly winning against JMM they you score on ineffective agression.

JMM won that fight by two rounds, and Ward won by 11-1, 10-8 is ok, anything else is ridiculous. This coming from a brit who was rooting for Froch.

Neither man landed very much.

It was nip and tuck. Lots of quick hacking between the clinches.

Whose style does that favor? Who do you think was controlling the action, to make the round play out that way?


Not much was landed between the two of them. A couple of shots either way.

Froch had that combo in the opening minute (the one that made Ward shake his head at him).

Middle part of the round, not a lot either way. A trickle of jabs and light touches between the clinches.

Final minute: Froch lands nothing, Ward rocks Froch's world with a left hook just before the final bell.

Ward round, guys. Better shots (out of the very few landed by either) and imposed his preferred type of fight.

 

118-110 Ward. Gave the 5th and 12th to Froch. Wasn't really a close fight.

I respect you're scoring bro but you have to give Froch the 12th. The 5th can be argued but everything else i agree with.
