It was a great night tripled my cash at the roulette tables but that is another story

I must say I was not a Ward fan going in and was rooting for Froch but Ward has earned my respect

Ward- He was just too quick and too sharp. He looked very comfortable in there too and fought not like a 20 something yr old champ who won the belt in 09 but like a solid vet with many title fights under his belt.

He won on the outside he won on the inside and did not let himself get caught in a fight that was on Froch's terms he dictated the action and the pace and where the fight was fought. He seemed to land the lead right at will and I think he should have used it more

Next up Bute or Martinez or quite possible a mandatory if he wants to keep the belts

Froch- I am a fan and rooted for him but it was not his night. Ward was either just too good or just a bad stylistic match up. Looking up at the screen Froch looked nervous pre fight at least I thought so and as the rounds went by I looked at the screen and his face in between rounds was not one of confidence.

He just did not seem to know how to approach Ward, Ward would be on the outside and Froch would just not seem able to get inside he was very cautious and measured at times seemingly just puzzled by Ward. Ward's faster hands even seemed to get the better of him inside. Froch simply could not land more than one shot at a time on Ward and he fell behind and had no way of coming back

Next, Id like a Bute fight but Froch should take an easy return fight Bute would be bad he needs a break after a tough tourney and Bute is quick and posses the same problems Ward did, he should face Kessler

Brook- very impressed, very patient, very accurate and a good finisher when he had somebody hurt. Id like to see him get in with someone top 10 I dont wanna get carried away just yet but he did some things that reminded me of Mayweather

Miranda- did his thing got the big KO on a great finish, he had an uppercut, used the jab and had a left hook and body attack. He did get hit by some real solid shots however

White- great upset Despaigne did not show up and he may have just ruined a fight between Despaign and Miranda. He was cut and gutted out a brave decision.

Tupou- 1st 5 were kind of boring and ugly. Holmes was sharp in the 7th then Tupou dropped him. Fight became busier as Tupou just moved back and forth and landed left hooks and moved away. He also fought hard in the clinches. Holmes hurt him multiple times in the 10th had him on 1 foot at times with the shots he landed. Maybe he thought he was ahead or something because he did not pursue Tupou with the conviction of a guy who needed something big

And how did I forget Lennox with the huge KO in the 2nd he looked a little flabby but he did well, Witherspoon actually caught him with a nice right moments before the final series that ended it

I made it in the door four rounds into the Tupou fight. Congrats on the roulette!

Did Witherspoon hit the edge of the apron? He was down a good long time, but got us pretty excited for the main event.

The 115-113s were pretty shocking. I was in a sea of Brits over in 113 (The "Fuuuuck Youuuuu!" guy was to my right) and they gave Froch 2-3 rounds.

He usually does. I didn't think he looked as nervous as before, so I didn't think much of it.

Not really. Froch is always nervous, and when coming to the ring he looked the most confident he's ever looked. He was simply outboxed.
