Nice one mate, but probably a bit of drive for a night out.

I'll bear it in mind though.

    Prob of no helop BUT...

If your in London......The whippet pub on Manchester Road in the docklands is a boxing only pub!!!!....loads of famous people have been there to sign autographs with the landlord...When i was there...I ran into Nigel Benn...

All ppv fights are shown....but not always advertised for licencing reasons!!!

That is useful, I'm more likely to be in London than Toronto. And you never know when you'll get stuck somewhere. Noted.

Any update on this? We have lots of good fighters now who are regularly on Sky/BoxNation/Five, and i'd rather watch cards in pubs than at home.

Until very recently there was a pub called the Crown and Cushion, a short walk from Manchester Victoria train station, memorabilia on all the walls, lots of old school regulars, etc. The building was sold so the Co-Op bank could expand, and i believe the landlord took over a nearby pub (The Dderby Arms, Cheetham Hill Road), though i'm not sure if they show late fights or not.

I used to put all the boxing on when I had a pub in Sunderland, was starting to build well, had a good crowd, a boxing quiz beforehand and that but the **** owners stopped getting the late licenses out of pure laziness so I could only let certain people I knew in. I ****ed off a couple of months after.

The Green Un in Benalmadena Spain, great little boxing bar, well worth a visit.

Would definitely be up for it. Been living in the city centre of Manchester for the last 4 months and so far loved it, although a boxing bar would be superb.

Its one of my pipe dreams to own a fight bar. Fight posters, old school photos, signed gloves, massive cinema screen in the back, other screens showing old school fights, it would be epic.
