WARD vs CALZAGHE who takes it?

very very close. andre ward is an awesome fighter but so is joe calzaghe...

Id say they are both equal in skill however ward is more versatile. i give this to joe calzaghe, his work rate and stamina is incomparable

Calzaghe by UD. very seasoned veteren, fast unorthodox movements and angles, undominatable will. Superior strength and fitness and workrate.

Calzaghe's workrate and stamina come to mind as being the deciding factors. Did Ward slow down against Froch because he knew he was winning, or was his conditioning a factor?

Calzaghe's handspeed would also play a factor, although Ward's overall athleticism may be better.

 

having watched boxing for nearly 40 yeras, i say, Ward looked great against a very one dimensional Froch, but Calzaghe is faster smarter and just better , Joe wins by TKO or points, no way Ward is winning that fight , but tip my hat for the super 6 win, now beat Bute Andre, you are beter then him, not a pay day against old man bhop, do the sport a favour

 

Calazaghe would have Ward gassed by Round 8.

As much as i can't stand Joe, his style gives EVERY SMW OF ALL TIME fits and he is the greatest of all time at that weight.

Andre is a special kid though, make no mistake about it!

I agree with nipple, Ward is a great in the making, but he still doesnt beat Calzaghe, Joe wins in a difficult but majority 8 or 9

They can't hurt each other, but Calzaghe has the better stamina and workrate. An easy fight to predict. Calzaghe by 4 points.
