    Much better options at 168. Dawson and Pascal are less accomplished than Bute. Dirrell would be a very interesting style matchup, although probabky dull.

    Needs to fight Bute to cement his legacy as THE BEST at 168. For extra credit, he can prove to Kessler that their first fight is no fluke.

    In either event, winning three or all four of the belts would make him the best SMW ever, surpassing what Joe Calzaghe did to AT LEAST to this point in his career.

    Gonna be interesting to see how he goes about the next couple of years. He shouldn't wait around for Bute though, 2 more fights maximum at smw and move up.

    Come on, a couple more fights at 168, he ain't a beast at SMW.

    Like others have said, Bute & Andre Dirrell as a minimum would help his legacy a great deal.

    If Ward moves up to Light Heavy, then he would have T-Rex reach in that division.

    Someone like Froch would be better off moving up to LH and fight slower fighters.

    An Andre Ward, Sergio Martinez match up would be appealing.

    Ward is a SMW for life.

    Even when the S6 started everyone knew it was full of bull**** fighters;

    Froch = B-Level at best

    Dirrell = just awkward with no real power or skill (B-Level)

    Abraham = blown up middleweight who cant hit anyone who doesnt stand in front of him (C-Level @ SMW)

    Taylor = completely damaged goods

    Kessler = Probably the best opponent for Ward but look what happened there

    Oh yeah, Ward is special alright...and HE says Bute has never fought anyone :lol:

    Im right though arent I?

    I much prefer slick boxing over brawling any day of the week but the fact that everyone is saying Ward is a legend already is beyond a joke. If it wasnt for the label 'super 6' then nobody would be interested. He won a tournament full of B-Level fighters, thats all!

    He's not done when there's still an "undefeated" champion at 168lbs (Bute)

    I would favor Ward against Bute. But until they face each other, we can't know for sure
