This is a good video by Bloodboxing talking about how belts are crap nowadays and he goes on to explain the history of each belt and how they were created. It's kinda long, but it's a good listen

Great vid. Epitome of 'real talk'.

Money, money, it's all about the money.

Ya and it's a shame that the organizations are so corrupt that it's a hassle to even unify the belts

    Preach the **** on! :deal

I do worry about the Ring now, even though I've felt for a long time that THE MAN is generally who has the Ring belt. But this "new over haul" at the Ring has me worried it's about to go to **** too.

Also why should James Toney be an 11 time world champ ? I'd like to know the history on that if were making Manny out to be an 8 time world champ ..

I mean, with 18 weight classes (I think..haha) with 4 major belts in each, that could be a possible 72 world champions at one time. Add in the Ring, and it's like a possible 90.

I don't rate Baldomir but he actually would have been champion of all sanctioning bodies if he could have paid the fee's. yes he was a **** champ but its not his fault Zab Judah couldn't keep his eyes on the prize. How could you be any more of a champion than having all the belts?

I agree there. the dude in the vid must ***** about Baldi 100 times, but it's not like Baldi was holding a belt while say 3 other champs were better. He was THE MAN to beat THE MAN. If there was just one champ, Baldi was it. :yep

sorry not the wbo belt but Judah was the wba, wbc and ibf champion whwn Baldomir beat him. Having three out of four belts is impressive in this day and age. again don't get me wrong Baldomir was a weak champ. but he beat the man of the division and deserves his respect.
