Ward is lucky to fight 12 rds and not 15.

If fights were 15 rounds, fighters would train for 15 rounds.

Exactly. Dirrell is an athletic guy who beats guys with athletic ability. IMO Dirrell also gives Ward his toughest fight at 168 because of his athletic ability and speed. With that said the fight will never happen because they're friends.

I think a true champion should be dominant in the championships rds; Wards has proven himself not to be that guy. Time will tell whether he's as good as Hopkins or Calzaghe.

You don't have to be dominant in the championship rounds when you've practically pitched a shutout on your opponent. :blood

Your initial point was ridiculous, you may as well just admit that.

Most people had him winning two of the last three rounds, and three of the last four.

Including two of the three judges.

You didn't see Ward fading, you saw Froch digging deep out of desperation and Ward maintaining his composure and control.

Rank the following three fighters by what they had achieved by the age of 27:

    Hopkins, Calzaghe, Ward

Why do people always make comments like this??? I dont get it. 15 round fights have been gone for many years and will never be back.

This is one of the lamest hate threads I have ever read on this site which is saying alot.

Both of these boxers would have lost had the bout been only 12 rds.

Not true. Froch stepped it up because the fight was coming to an end, not because it took him too many rounds to get into it. It was the urgency, not the inability to get into the groove.
