Why must these issues be mutually exclusive??

Froch is a warrior and he also wants the cash.

Unfortunately, he's going to catch a beating in both bouts, assuming the second actually comes to pass.

It wasn't a razor thin decision, Ortiz won clearly. Losing a title fight in dominating fashion doesn't make you more deserving that winning one, that's just nonsense. Anyway I was just comparing how some Ortiz fans were saying he deserved props for taking the Floyd fight, as if a guy in his position would turn it down. Same thing applies to Froch/Bute.

For the last time, I'm not blaming him or judging him, there's nothing wrong with chasing the most money in your job. How can I say it's based purely off business? How long have you been following the sport? Money rules boxing. I'm not stripping him of his attribute, I'm just saying he's not a warrior for doing something most fighters in his position would do. This is not a diss, this has nothing to do with his fighting ability. When I say it's not his fault I meant this not a "fault", it's not wrong to chase the biggest payday, that's what fighters do. I didn't say anything negative about Froch, I just explained the reasons why he took the fight. I know reality is not as nice as your warrior fantasy but it's reality.

    Check my posting history genius.

I do think he'll serve as a barometer for bute's true skilland be a threat throughout, but thanks for recognizing the stupidity of this thread, apparently being a warrior and wanting a good business fight, against arguably the most dangerous super middleweight, are mutually exclusive.

ortiz won clearly? it was clear as day huh?:roflokay. ortiz fans saying he deserves props for taking the floyd fight were right, he does deserves props for taking the best fighter in the world after a life and death struggle against andre berto and a draw with lamont peterson, and easy wins against guys like who? that's right, vivian harris, and ohh, that's right, NATE CAMPBELL. yet the same thing applies to Froch Vs. Bute? does anyone not see what this idiot is asserting? oh wait, people do, that's why your points are being shitted on left and right in this thread.

also, the reality is, he IS a warrior, for, taking a fight against arguably the best fighter and undoubtedly the most dangerous puncher in the division, regardless if it's for good money and a guaranteed rematch or not. your point would definitely be a good one if hypothetically, he were fighting robert stieglitz in nottingham next, a much easier fight all around, with big money for him, the ability to win a belt and keep himself in contention. THE FACT THAT HE'S NOT DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT IS WHAT MAKES HIM A WARRIOR. take your ass back to the lounge bro, your a disgrace:rofl

also, you're even more of an idiot than I initially thought if you bring to light the fact that stieglitz has two scheduled fights so that would be an impossibility. I said hypothetically.

**** post and you know it. Look at the fights Froch has taken over the last 3 years, I doubt there is anyone in the sport right now who has taken such a gruelling run of fights without a "gimme" in there somewhere to break them up. Now he's going straight into Bute's back yard when he could quite easily have taken an easy fight in Nottingham if he wanted to. The guy wants to be the best he can and he wants to take on the best opponent he can get in every single fight. That is the very definition of a warrior as far as boxing is concerned.

Yes Ortiz won clearly, Berto did nothing other than laying on the ropes and landing occasional bombs.

Ortiz deserves props for accepting the biggest payday he could get? LMAO. Anybody in this forum would fight Floyd for $2 million, no matter how badly they would get beat up. :patsch

If Robert Stieglitz was a bigger draw than Bute do you think Froch would still fight Bute? You're not a warrior for going where the most money is, you're just a smart business man. How naive can you be?

Fact is he needed the S6 to get more exposure and money. He didn't choose his opponents in the S6. Like I said before, Froch is not in the position where he can turn down a big fight and take a few gimmes. He doesn't have a title and he's not getting any younger.
He's not trying to take on the best opponents, that's what fighters say. He's trying to make the most money like everybody else. Nothing wrong with that but nothing warrior-like either.

ortiz deserves props for fighting a guy he had no business being in the ring with. either way, you're the one who decided to compare victor ortiz to carl froch:rofl

stieglitz isn't a bigger draw than bute, but your point would make sense if froch chose to fight stielitz in nottingham, because it would be a soft touch and he would still be making big money fighting in his hometown, and winning a belt in the process, adding to his bargaining power...that wouldnt be warrior like, but that isnt the case. froch isnt in the position to take a gimme fight? he hasnt shown any sign of aging and he's the most popular he's ever been, but he isnt in any position to take a soft touch? you're the dumbest poster on this board.

yeah, it's nothing warrior like to try and make the most money possible, you're right, but that wasnt your initial point. your initial point was that he was making the most money possible, against LUCIAN BUTE, one of the top two super middleweights and the most dangerous puncher in the division. that's warrior like, not to mention froch has proven it night in and night out. warrior's arent chosen at the negotiation table dickhead, good businessman are, warriors are chosen in the ring, and that's why they arent mutually exclusive terms. a good businessman can also be a warrior in the sport of boxing, sugar ray robinson was the ultimate. the longer this thread lasts, the longer you get shitted on, by myself, and others.

He deserves props for doing something everybody and their mother would do.

Motherfukka I said IF. The biggest draw just happens to be Bute who is dangerous but if it was Stieglitz then Froch would fight him right away. If Jesse Brinkley was the biggest draw Froch would fight him too. You think he sat down and thought "let me see who the baddest man out there is and I'll fight him". You need to wake up from your fantasy.

Doesn't matter what he has shown, he's been in wars and he ain't getting any younger. He would have been dumb to take a gimme and turn down the biggest payday at 168. :patsch

LOL how dumb can you be : it doesn't matter who it is against, it's not warrior like to go where the most money is. He's not more of a warrior than Bika, Miranda, Brinkley, Magee, Mendy and Johnson yet I don't see you praising them for stepping up against Bute.

"warriors aren't proven at the negotiation table" But that's my point you dumbass! You're the one who claims somebody is a warrior for fighting this guy or that guy, ignoring the financial aspect which is the deciding factor. :patsch I never said Froch isn't a warrior in the ring I said he's not a warrior for signing a fukking contract that anybody else in his position would sign.

Why am I even arguing with a 14 yr old Froch d!ck rider?

come on bro, 14 year old froch dick rider? you're definitely sweating my man...you never went that hard:rofl, meanwhile this thread is a sheer joke. "so warriors aren't proven at the negotiation table," that's a fact, and typical, hopping on my point when you literally dont have one bullet left, and never did, you were just a hater from the start and that's what you'll continue to be. Froch is a warrior for fighting lucian bute, whether it's for peanuts or for millions, whether bute's a draw or not. now go ahead and say if he wasn't a draw, he wouldnt fight him. that's an IF you sound like a dickhead posing, and only carl froch would know. he's fought top fight after consecutive top fight, and you think he wants to fight guys strictly because they're draws? you may not have said that outright but you're implying it by stating the financial benefits of fighting lucian bute, and not the serious risks he'll be taking within the ring. complete idiot:lol:
