I side with Enzo slightly actually. Though yeah, its a distinct possibility. Certainly somebody is getting dropped inside 4.

Expecting so little from Cleverlys future opponent, I would rather he face a name who has some danger about him. Rather than some Eastern European no name who is **** with no chance of winning.

Cleverly still without a Feb 25 challenger; Miranda offers to step in and make him ‘feel stupid.’

WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly (23-0, 11 KOs), the UK’s only world champion after the defeats of Amir Khan and Carl Froch in recent weeks, will defend his belt against an opponent to be named on February 25 at Moterpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. No opponent has been named, but #9 rated Andrzej Fonfara has been ruled out by the Cleverly camp according to walesonline.co.uk.

One of boxing’s hardest punchers Edison “Pantera” Miranda (35-6, 30 KOs), fresh off a sensational TKO win over WBO #7 light heavyweight Kariz Kariuki on Saturday night in Atlantic City, targeted Cleverly on Wednesday. “Sure, I would love to fight him in his backyard. I have never turned down a challenge. I have a huge fan base in England and all over Europe. I’m back in the gym and it would be no problem for me to get ready for a title fight in February. It would give me great pleasure to fight in front of all those great fans and give them a night they will never forget. Cleverly will feel stupid when I’m done with him.”

I have very little hope for his opponent so I'd much rather a name fighter with a punchers chance then a no name eastern euro with no chance.

Well he needs a legit opponent after that joke of a 175 debut.

Maccarinelli needs to find a vocation which isn't going to leave him with brain damage. No-one needs to see him knocked out badly again, but he seems hell bent on it.

Cleverly on the other hand needs to step up his level of opposition and take charge of his career and his potential legacy. If he's gonna spout off about fighting Cloud or Hopkins or just anyone with a pulse at 175 then he needs to put his money where his mouth is and stop knocking over Slavic taxi drivers. If it's ****** who's holding him back then Clev should tell the fish-eyed old red-faced **** to **** off, and find a promoter with ambition for their fighters. I have infinitely more respect for Froch having picked up a couple of losses during a run of tough opponents than I will have for Clev if he just keeps on taking whatever ****** feeds him.

For '******' read as 'the name for what rabbits live in'...
