up 1. Vitali Klitschko 2. Wladimir Klitschko 3. Povetkin 4. Adamek 5. Dimitrenko 6. Chagaev 7. Helenius 8. Perez 9. Arreola 10. Denis Boytsov
1. Vitali 2. Wlad 3. Haye 4. Povetkin 5. Adamek 6. Arreola 7. Chambers 8. Helenius 9. Chisora 10. Dimitrenko
That's a good list, but I do not understand what Haye has done to get above Povetkin. Chambers have not done too much winning in the heavy weight division lately either, right? Adamek is not a heavy weight and never will be so he drops off the list to the cruisers. 1. Vitali 2. Wlad 3. Povetkin 4. (Maybe) Haye (if he's not retired already) 5. Helenius 6. Chisora 7. Dimitrenko 8. Arreola 9. Chambers 10. Fury
Not including Haye, he's retired. 1. Wlad 2. Vitali 3. Povetkin 4. Chambers 5. Thompson 6. Adamek 7. Helenius 8. Chagaev 9. Arreola 10. Dimitrenko 11. Pulev 12. Chisora 13. Solis 14. Ustinov 15. Boystov 16. Fury 17. Lawrence 18. Mormeck 19. Mitchell 20. Stiverne I'm reluctant to over-rate Chisora on the basis of one fight--I'm giving RH the benefit of the doubt that he actually broke his hand. I don't include Haye because he's "retired".
1. Wlad 2. Vitali 3. Povetkin 4. Haye 5. Chambers 6. Adamek 7. Helenius 8. Arreola 9. Dimitrenko 10.Thopmson
WTF is with morons on ESB who rate Tua? Why? Tua was trash, is trash and will always be trash. He couldn't beat ANYONE on that list today and you have him at 3? He isn't in the top 25!!! Chisora would beat him, **** Helenius would beat him...**** I'd take Fury over him... My bad mate, just realized you originally posted this 2.10.2010...
My CURRENT top 10 based on activity, level of opposition and best wins: 1. Vladimir Klitschko 2. Vitali Klitschko 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Eddie Chambers 5. Tony Thompson 6. Ruslan Chagaev 7. Robert Helenius 8. Tomasz Adamek 9. Chris Arreola 10. Alexander Dimitrenko
I still have a soft spot in my heart for Tua. I'd love to see him cave in Wlad's chin in round one. I think he's still got a few good fights left. Povetkin don't want any!
By the back end of the top 10, I kind of want to vomit. Current based more on resume than talent, but a mix, and Haye isn't rated because he's still officially retired. 1 - Wlad 2 - Vitali 3 - Povetkin 4 - Chambers 5 - Adamek 6 - Arreola 7 - Tyson Fury 8 - Kubrat Pulev 9 - Franklin Lawrence 10 - Dereck Chisora Helenius and Thompson probably come next. Chagaev hasn't done anything in years, so not sure why people are rating him. Same goes for Boytsov, who if anyone objectively looked at, people would realize that a lot of other prospects have lapped him at this point. Dimitrenko hasn't really done much of consequence either. It's sad that I'm rating a bunch of guys who are basically prospects at 7 - 10, but at least they've fought some decent guys and beaten them. Anyway, if I could cut off the top 10 at 6, I would. Those are the only six guys who deserve to be in it. Guys like Chagaev, Dimitrenko and Boytsov still keep getting rated, but that's from entropy as much as anything. People start rating them, don't know who else to rate, and just keep rating them even though they haven't shown that they're even decent in years.
