Is anyone scared for this man's life? We all heard he had brain damage, and now he is making a comeback. I think he should be banned from competition, and he is endangering his life. What do you all think?
Scared for Jermain's life??? He's fighting a man with a 30% KO average: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=343128&cat=boxer
He really have brain damage :huh I think this comeback fight is a good measure of what he has left, but no I don't think he will get badly hurt in it either
Many people have brain damage and it doesn't prevent them from living their lives and posting on esb, so why not?
I'm a Jermaine fan and wish him all he best in his comeback,he looked good against Froch untill the 7th round, and was still in the fight against Abraham till the stoppage, but he doesn't seem the same fighter that beat Hopkins.Would hate to see him end up like RJJ.
are you kidding me arkansas has got the best medical evaluation board for boxers on it's commission on the entire planet.
Banned from competition? Are you ****in serious. There's countless fighters today still fighting that are taking worse beatings than Taylor ever took. he will be fine. Good luck to him I say.
I've always felt like banning fighters from competition is something that's way to subjective and controversial, who are we to ban a fighter. However, Jermaine Taylor, the last time I saw him he didn't put on a bad performance he was just knocked out at the end. In all fairness to Taylor fans forget that Erik Morales was 0-4 with two losses by knockout before he rejuvenated his career. Taylor is hardly alone, you had plenty of fans, myself included, who thought Morales coming back was a death sentence now look at him. I'm not here to try and convince anybody that Jermaine Taylor will make a complete 360 and turn things around. Nonetheless, I think he still has the ability to compete at a sub-elite level and make some decent money. Stranger things have happened in Boxing than Jermaine Taylor making a return. Look at Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones, and James Toney.... all of those guys have dealt with troubles far greater than anything Taylor's experienced.
i think you got him confused with Andre dirrell faking a brain injury . . . . both got put down by the fearsome undefeated Arthur Abraham :deal . . . . . oh yeah thats right its not 2009
