    Why not :hey im just curious to see fighters with similar styles involved in fights that strangely have a lot in common

    Cos im talking about something other than Mayweather going to jail and how Pacquiao is a god? its a boxing forum, deal with it :deal

    i think Khan vs Peterson and Tony M vs Cotto 1 were very similar.

    The one guy (Khan and Cotto) were the better boxers and in the opening rounds they boxed and kept moving but gassed and got worn down by the brawler (Tony and Pete)

    In all fairness it was more of a clothesline than a punch that put him down :lol:

    Not to have a go, mate. But who exactly is similar in style here. Martinez is nothing like Calzaghe, apart from being a southpaw. And Pavlik sure as hell ain't nothing like Jones.

    Khan had success all throughout the fight including the late rounds. Cotto gassed worse then khan did

    The main comparison is Calzaghe and Martinez, They are both south paw fighters that fight with their hands down and the fights against Pavlik and Jones were similar with Joe and Sergio being knocked down and getting back up to bloody the **** out of their opponents
