Should be a decent scrap while it lasts. Is this really a step up for Wach? And is it the best opponent he has faced so far? (If it happens, but it looks close to being finalized.)

Let me know what you guys think of this match up, what should Wach do after this if he gets the 'W'?

I thought Wach retired for good...did he not? I know he's young still but reports said he called it a day??

Seriously? Why would he retire? Reports are that he is probably fighting Tye Fields next.

Think you're talking about Wolak. A couple weight classes apart.

Wach should face Michael Grant after this fight.

Apparently this fight will be on ESPN Friday night fights

Yeah I heard about that. Isn't Chambers Vs Liakhovich on ESPN as well?

He put McBride in the hospital and he's undefeated. He's not exactly Ali in the ring but why in the world would he retire? I call BS.

I'm sporting his avatar until he gets KTFO.

Yeah, Fields is gonna get knocked out cold again in this fight. He's basically making a living now as cannon fodder for up and comers.

If I gave you a free punch could you KTFO Fields? Never mind Wach.

Jason Gavern has fought several marquee names in this sport, and NONE of them embarrassed him as Wach did.

Fields is chinny, but has a sneaky L hand and massive power. This is certainly a chincheck for Mariuzs.

My guess is that since Wach tends to overestimate his opposition and admits to not being a boxing fan, he doesn't know all that much about Feilds so he will feel him out with the 1-2 for a couple rounds before sitting on a hard R hand and ending Tye's evening in brutal fashion.

As for a step up or down.....neither, it's really a lateral move moreso than forward or back, but hopefully the fast handed Feilds can find that giant chin of Wach's and show us if he's got granite or eggshell behind that massive mandible.:deal

Fields has an abysmal glass jaw. Pretty much any decent HW should be able to knock him out.

I don't care about any of that. I've seen both fight and both are awful.
