I wouldn't even dare to rate Huck before seeing him against some random journeyman or at least some shot guy like Sam Peter or Hasim Rahman. Huck's a nobody and he knows it. He just comes to collect a paycheck at HW and then to disappear back to CW.
P4P #1 at ring entrances though. Those crazy "Germans". EDIT: Those Boxrec rankings get a little crazy, never put too much stock in them.
The boxrec system is usually a pretty good impartial system, where boxers are ranked by what they have done, not speculation about how good they are or will be. However, this is one of the flaws with the system, he is third based on his cruiserweight achievements, this works fine when someone is moving from featherweight to superfeatherweight, or middle to supermiddle etc but the step up in size from cw to hw is huge compared to the other weights
Not so sure about that. The men Boxrec rate around him Povetkin, Adamek and Chambers are all more or less the same weight and size. **** all that for a minute now, I've just seen Boxrec have the awful Tyson Fury ranked 7th! Madness.
A middleweight is only 8lbs lighter than the biggest smw and when someone steps up from middleweight to super middleweight they are the same weight, whereas most of the other heavyweight in the top 10 are much bigger than Huck. It is obviously the biggest step up in weight (or maybe LHW to CW). Tyson Fury is not the 7th best Hw but he deserves that rank based on the level of opponents he has beaten. I would favour Ustinov, mitchell, Pulev, wach, boytsov, price, Abdusalamov and gerber to beat Fury. But Fury has the better wins so should be ranked that high
