I'd hope it's official. Matt is a top 5 mw and the only other fight to be made as meaningful as this would be against sturm.

Even further from that nightmare against Andrew Facey! A good example to any young pro's coming off a poor performance or a loss!

Macklin should get torn up nicely in this bout.

Terrible fight for Martinez. HE really isn't mixing in the right class.

MW's a weak division. Sturm won't fight him. He's too small for 168 and none of the superstars will step up. Chavez's team certainly isn't interested.

Martinrz, Chavez, Sturm, Pirog, Golovkin really need each other for credibility, a higher profile and money. They are only hurting themselves.

Chavez and Sturm are the two biggest culprits though.

Aye, distinct lack of options for Martinez.

First off I thought this match was a piece of ****, but then when you actually think about it who else is there? It's not that had considering.

I'd expect Martinez to stop Macklin quicker than he did Barker, the way that Macklin likes to fight plays right into Martinez's hands. He'll walk him onto a beastly left by the middle rounds.
