Well, Huck knows he is technically way below Povetkin, maybe he wants to overpower him? What do you think is his natural weight?
With Uli "Drill Sergeant" Wegner as trainer, you can be sure he comes in 100% fit and ready for 12 rounds.

It´s obvious that he wants to bully Povetkin, he knows that he can`t outbox him but 255 is too much. He should beef up to lean 230-240 he will probably be fat if he really puts on that much weight

To put this in perspective he's the same height as Chagaev

He was too much of a ***** to let his hands go against 5'10 Lebedev. Even when he is aggressive he throws 4 or 5 combinations a round maximum ala Abraham and has a super low workrate. He'll get anniahlated and i can't wait to see it.

Guess the hope might be that his work rate will increase now that he does not have to make weight anymore.

That said i doubt it though, add to that i think he was very lucky to be given a "win" vs Lebedev.

I hear that Rahman's team want to stop the fight. Because Povetkin already had his voluntary defense, now he must face the OC who is Rahman.
    WBA will decide

    :patsch

He must really have faith in his punch & chin carrying up well, because they're all he had going for him at CW really.

Fat, slow, and unskilled is no way to go through heavyweight contention, Kap'n! (not even in the division's current weak state)

He might have found some success at the fringe level if matched carefully to start out. He could have won a shootout with a chinny banger like Travis Walker, but his ceiling IMO would have been wins over the likes of Mormeck or Rahman.

Starting off with Povetkin is just asking to be embarrassed. He will look badly out-classed and may even get stopped. (via accumulation of clean blows, if not knockout).

Then what? He's going to tuck tail and drop back down to CW, by dropping at least 56 pounds? :?

We may be seeing Huck committing career seppuku here.

Move up, get paid, take a beating, retire.

So we are going to see two chubsters on February 25th. Povetkin has an advantage though, because he was chubby for his entire career.

Clearly he was weight draining before hand to make CW. He'll make that weight he says easily without being fat.
