    This may have been posted before, but I just saw this clip from another thread in the lounge and had to share it. It's quite simply the worst, most bent refereeing performance I've ever seen. Much worse than the ref in the Ottke v Reid fight. His name is Manfred Kuechler

    These referees are an absolute disgrace to the sport. :twisted::fire:nono:dead

    this guy is a german promoters dream, he is involved in every "controversial" decision that has taken place over there. Correct me if I am wrong but this is also the same guy who got ***** slapped by khoren gevor in the ring...rightfully. Somebody needs to get rid of guys like Kuechler, who kill the sport of boxing with their ****

    Yes, this referee is the same one Gevor went beserk at after his fight with Stieglitz. Kuechler doesn't even hide the fact he is corrupt, even though the bouts are televised and put online. It's because in Germany it's taken as the norm. :verysad

    Was this the same guy who reffed Bahktov vs Kretschman? The one who asked Oener what to do after the fight?

    Another piece of crap is Manuel Oliver Palomo of Spain...dude was involved in the Helenius-Chisora, Lebedev-Huck robberies...he is the Spanish version of Kuechler. German promoters love him too....they know why.

    Maybe these refs who are willing to go out to Germany get offered better deals by individual promoters etc. so they can make more money then what would be the norm if they're willing to do what has to be done.
