If Bute isn't worthy of a shot at Ward, how is Dre Dirrell worthy of a shot at Bute?

True. But only at a certain range. Mid-range Bute is great. We havent seen how he'd handle a guy boxing on the outside or getting rough with him on the inside. :good

Did I show you what happened last time André Dirrell met a danish robot? Hint: the dane was a lightweight and Dirrell was KTFO.

Johnson wasn't "timing Bute with the jab". When he did catch Bute with it, he was eating right hooks to the jaw. That's what Badlok pointed out.

If you can't see Bute boxing with Dirrell, you see him brawl or what? ..the ****?!? :rofl

Bute is a guy who trows punches from such angles that you don't see them coming. Bute has good power with a nice speed attached to it, that if you lave yourself open for might end the fight. Bute's attaks varies from head to body with a frighting frequency, Bute has good footwork that can cut the ring with, he is a Hute SMW, he has the best and most powerful body-punch in boxing today, He's head and upperbody movements are making opponent miss and let themselves open for a counter. Because of that movement he is almost impossible to be hit with one hail-marry Ko punch. He also can dodge and still be in the range to strike back.
My point is you don't know Bute that well and you're only seeing Ward's skills. Bute is good and he has a chance, bigger than anyone at SMW and LHW.

Bute will Knock-Out Dirrell in 10.

Johnson jab is a work of art, polished during those so many years he had so far in boxing. That jab looked technically perfect. And statistically he landed in a very very small percentage comparing with what he trow. He landed far more against Froch and at a better percentage.

The Dirrell's think he's all hype, especially after facing "a lot of Canadians". :hey

Bute would probably cut the ring off vs Dirrell in a more efficient fashion than Froch did.

Actually Froch was more less following him around instead of playing the position vs ropes game.

I don't understand why american and UK fightfans can't accept that Lucian Bute is the overall best SMW bar none.

He's stronger than Ward, slicker than Dirrel, and takes a shot better than both. His resume is not as good as Ward's, but he tried like hell to get into the s6 only to be lobbied against by G@@53N.

If he were not in a contract with HBO when the s6 was first started it would be game set match and the s6 would be the S6.

  12. **** all this talk. Ward needs to step up and give Bute the shot.

Beside you & Slice, I don't see many Americans calling for Ward-Bute right away. I bet Showtime would like to make the fight too. :D

Ward said he was interested in becoming a multi divisional champ. He was given the chance to fight Bute in Oakland, and what came out of Goosen was that they needed 'an easier fight'.

Thing is, say he had beaten Bute for the IBF belt in April 2012, rematched Kessler in summer/fall with the WBO belt at stake, he would have been ready to make the jump to 175 early 2013 having cleaned up and unified 168.

Because of timelines associated with WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO mandatories, we might very well not see a full unification go down. All that, to get that 'easier fight'.

Of course that's my opinion on how things would have gone had he chosen to go for Bute right away. If anyone feels mandos will not be an issue from here on, I'd like to hear about how they see things unfolding to actually allow for a full unification.

wtf?? Anthony Dirrell. Yeah that will be a great fight, huge sell out.

He's ducking Bute clearly, but after Lucian knockouts froch, unless Ward leaves the division, he will be forced to fight him.
