According to Haye fans David's toe bone was connected to his leg bone and his leg bone was connected to his spine bone.....

No, he moved pretty well if you ask me

took his shoe off like it was scripted almost like he was waiting to do this before he even got in the ring

the pathetic built in excuse he was just waiting to admit the whole time which is sad

No! How could you. Ward just fought froch in the final of the super six going in with a broken hand. Thats balls. A baby toe:patsch what a ****ing whiny joke:|

No excuss is possible for this. Just give yourself a cortisone shot and get on with it:deal

it's hard to get punches off when your toe's injured. would have been worse if it was on his lead foot though.

british ***s? :blood shut up you skinny puff.

Nobody in Britain accepted that as a legitamate excuse. Not British TV, not the press or the public. He was laughed into retirement with all his credibility in total shreds.

Thats why he ****ed off and has hardly been seen til lately, yet its debatable whether Britain even wants to see him fight again. Certainly nobody is paying PPV for him and nobody is gunna believe anything he says about anything. IF the Vitali fight comes off there will be a significant crowd there to support Vitali

Haye could have 8 good toes on each foot and he would still get beat...Wald is just too big.

    From a Brit, no.

If I talk crap about you for a year or more, get paid millions and get to Box you for the heavyweight championship of the world, I'm going to fight you, no matter if my toe is broke or I have a hang-nail. You're a modern day Warrior, fight like it.

No its not a legitimate excuse but as I believe, Haye said the toe was the reason why he couldnt land his right hand, not that its the reason he lost the fight.
He said himself Wlad was too good on the night.

Most fighters would pull out/delay the fight on a broken toe, but Haye had negotiated himself into a position where the Klitschko´s would never give him the time of day again if he pulled out.

Haye thought he was being clever in all his antics and pay demands but in fact he backed himself into a corner and couldn´t pull out even if he broke both hands and feet.

Pure unprofessional management since the day he turned heavyweight led to his entire heavyweight career being a wasted joke. Such a shame as we could have had some decent fights out of him if he´d handled himself differently
