Be it lineal, alphabet or other, which of our british fighters do you think will be in possession of a world title in 12 months time?

I think we'll struggle quite significantly.

Froch should be able to pick up a title.

Khan will most likely have been knocked out at welter.

Cleverly will have lost to shumenov

One of macklin/barker/murray should be able to beat pirog and maybe even geale.

Burns will almost certainly be wbo lw champ and I think mitchel will pick up the wba belt.

Will any of the prospects break through? Fury, frampton, quigg, de gale, groves? I doubt it but I won't rule it out.

Any thoughts by you guys? This time new year which of our boxers will hold a world title?

I find a few of your assumptions bizarre.

I don't see an easy belt on the offing for Froch. Bute/Ward are favorites over him, Kessler is fighting Stieglitz.

Why will Cleverly lose to Shuemnov?

How are Barker/Macklin/whoever going to beat Pirog?

I'm not saying some of these things are impossible but you see to be taking them for granted, I'd say on the balance of probabilities all are odds against.

Macklin, Barker and Murray would get well beaten by Pirog, probably Geale to. the only weak link in the middleweight chain is Felix sturm at the moment. Every 160 pound contender will be chomping at the bit to fight him.

Khan will get his titles back, then dodge Bradley.

Froch aint got much chance unless Kessler goes the bute route and leaves Steiglitz open for him.

Burns or Mitchell will most likely become the WBO lightweight champ (favour Burns)

Cleverley will defend against a few Polish bums all the while calling out Hopkins and Froch.

If Brook can go the Jones vacant route then he will be good to go..

    Thats about it i think...

Ill go over your ground mate to keep it quick

Froch should be able to pick up a title.

Agreed, but depends how he plays it, Bute is a tough ask, but if he goes for the WBO or WBA regular he will win one of those imo

Khan will most likely have been knocked out at welter.

Dont think he will go up tbh, i think he beat petersen and then have a fight against a bum at 147 if anything, Matthew Hatton or someone of that calibre

Cleverly will have lost to shumenov

Nah, Shumanov really isnt very good.

One of macklin/barker/murray should be able to beat pirog and maybe even geale.

    "Maybe even Geale"????
He's the weak link man, one of them will have him on points over here on a ****** show

Burns will almost certainly be wbo lw champ and I think mitchel will pick up the wba belt.

Agree on burns, could be right about Mitchell

Will any of the prospects break through? Fury, frampton, quigg, de gale, groves? I doubt it but I won't rule it out.

I think Groves will be up there by the end of the year, world class, but maybe not a title, I could see a shocking ko victory over froch for the WBO being possible there.

So yeah, im optomistic, should be good times,

Khan will beat Peterson in the rematch and be having his first fight at Welter against a picked opponent (Hatton as eg)

Froch will fight Bute or Kessler/Steilglitz for a title later in the year.

Burns will be elevated and won't fight a worthy opponent in 2012.

Cleverly will be given opponents he can beat for the duration of 2012.

Macklin will beat Martinez in the shock of the decade but still wont be world champion (joke).

I think froch will beat bute unless he underestimates his punching power. If he assumes bute can't knock him out, he'll get knocked out. Other than that he should be able to wear him down. I had him beating mikel.

Cleverly is not as good as bebuit by a long way in my opinion.

Macklin and murray have both operated at a higher level than pirog. Barker has the style to frustrate and outbox pirog over 12.

How do you see the title picture in a year?

Completely forgot about him because of how slowly he's being brought along.

The big boys are out of the question but senchenko or bailey should fall to him.

Who knows. Vitali is there for the taking in every fight. He is effective but looks old now.

Burns looks set to be made into a full WBO champ like Cleverly and both are set to be protected by bogus defences. Both have fight dates against TBA and this means that with short warning top opponents won't take the fight.

Froch could fight Bute or Kessler should he win the WBO.

    Khan is rematching Peterson.

Mitchell with some bogus match making may get a shot at the soon to be vacated WBA 135.

DeGale may fight Magee for the interim title.

Macklin is set to be beaten up by MArtinez but this is boxing and anything could happen.

Barker could fight Sturm if he is lucky.

There are options and the Brits as **** as some of them look are in a good position.

Even Haye could come back to beat Vitali!
