Because most people were expecting Pac to steamroll JMM, when that didn't happen, JMM's efforts were magnified and seemed more than they were.

I scored the fight a draw.

JMM doesn't get extra points in the scoring just because he exceeded most people's expectations.

 

If we play by your logic marquez won the first and second fight despite being knocked down. Take note, the cut over marquez right eye came from a pac headbutt in the 7th rd.

Pac was being outpointed, countered, led around the ring like a marionette puppet, and those crude 1-2 off-balance lunges! Ugh:tired! It was like he time-warped back to the 90s:-(. I guess the judges that night went for volume and aggression (no matter how ineffective). Still, I don't feel that bad - the universe has balanced out for that 10-6 first round not scored for Pac in their first fight.

That is a pretty idiotic request.

Anyone with some decent boxing knowledge knows that Marquez bruises and cuts quite easily these days. That's to be expected considering the man is almost 40 years old and has a lot of mileage on him at this point. Hence, their bruises/cuts post-fight don't tell the real story of that fight.
